WALTHAM CHASE TRIALS - NEWS UPDATE

The next Waltham Chase Trial is Round 6 of the Club Championship, being held at Treefields Farm, Botley Rd, Bishops Waltham, SO32 1DR on Sunday the 18th September.

Start Time is 10.30 and Sam will be there bright and early to serve breakfasts and drinks before you ride.

Please check the website before you travel in case of a wet weather venue change.

Hut Hill Tidy Up and Practice - Saturday 10th September

STOP PRESS:

DUE TO THE UNCERTAINTY OF THE WEATHER TOMORROW THE TIDY UP AND PRACTICE WILL GO AHEAD AS PLANNED BUT THE BBQ IS CANCELLED.

If you go down to the woods today………you will find lots of rubbish left by our summer visitors.

Not our mess, but we are responsible for maintaining the land, so we need to have a tidy up.

This is the Plan:

Gates will open at 12.30 – do not arrive early as you will be parking on a busy road.

Bring one rubbish sack with you to fill and take home and dispose of. From 1.00 – 3.00 we will have a tidy up. Picking up rubbish, tidying fallen trees, repairing fences and possibly make some new sections.

Bring any tools that you think may be of use, and don’t forget gardening gloves. Then from 3.00 to 5.00 you can practice.

Non-members, or anyone wanting just to practice for two hours (3.00-5.00) can do so for a charge of £10.00, which will include a day licence if required.

The gates will close at 5.30.

Not a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon - even in the rain!
