Waltham Chase News Update

The next Waltham Chase event is a Beginner’s Trial at Oakridge Copse, Grimstead Rd, Alderbury, which is being held on Saturday 22^nd October.

The gates are open from 11.00 with a start time of 12.30pm. (Practice from 11.30)

Look out for direction signs to the venue from post code SP5 3RQ, and if you are coming from the direction of Alderbury be mindful that there is a sharp right turn into the copse entrance.

This trial is for beginners or “rusty riders” of any age, with C, D and E easy routes only.

Day licences and Club Membership are available for non ACU members.

Experienced riders are welcome to come along and offer advice and support to newcomers and before the trial starts we will brief riders a summary of the “rules and regulations”.

As always offers to observe are appreciated.

There is no catering van at this event so do bring along a drink and refreshments.

As an added bonus one rider will be awarded the “Oakridge Copse Trophy”, an award crafted by the land owner.
