Hut Hill Tidy Up with Practice - Saturday 21st October
If you go down to the woods today………you will find lots of rubbish left by our summer visitors.
Not our mess, but we are responsible for maintaining the land, so we need to have a tidy up at Hut Hill.
This is the Plan:
Gates will open at 10.00 on the 21st October – do not arrive before then as you will be parking on a busy road.
Bring one rubbish sack with you to fill and take home and dispose of.
From 10.30 – 12.30 we will have the tidy up. Picking up rubbish, tidying fallen trees, repairing fences and possibly make some new sections. In fact, anything to enhance the venue.
Bring any tools that you think may be of use, and don’t forget the gardening gloves.
Then from 1.00 to 3.00 you can practice free of charge by way of reward.
There will be no catering facilities.
Non-members, or anyone wanting just to practice or try out a new bike for two hours (1.00 -3.00) can do so for a fee of £10.00, which will include an ACU day licence if applicable.
The gates will close at 3.30.
Not a bad way to spend a Saturday.
