Club Championship Information
All Waltham Chase Trials are held under the ACU Trials Standing Regulations. Well worth a read on a wet day.

There is some local addition information shown below for the Club Championship.
· All Rounds of the series will be run over 4 Laps of 10 sections.
· ACU “Stop-Allowed Rules” apply
· The 2026 series will be held over 8 rounds. At the conclusion of the Series, the points for each rider’s best results from 6 rounds will be added together and the rider with the highest number of points to their credit will be awarded the relevant Championship title.
· Awards for all classes will be allocated dependant on the class size.
· Youth riders may choose their class based on ability and not age. Engine capacity & wheel size to follow ACU age limits.
· Adult Championship Class winners can win a Class for no more than for two consecutive years. In the third year they may enter the class on a “no award” basis if wishing not to ride in a higher class. This ruling does not apply to our Youth Riders or our Open to Centre Trials.
· Expert Class: Hut Hill is not the ideal venue for Expert Riders; however, an Expert Class will be added to the entry list all rounds. The COC will take the call whether to mark out an Expert Route the day before the Trial depending on the number of Experts entered.
· Clubman Class: For the 2026 Championship the Clubman Class will be marked out to be less severe than in previous years and should be suitable for C route riders wishing to upgrade.
· All riders should ride in a class they feel comfortable to ride.
· Waltham Chase members are asked to add their “Club Rider Number” when entering an event on Sport80. Please add to the “Event Specific Information” box.
